1 - That the dress wasn’t ruined… ok, very wet and a bit muddy but nothing beyond repair;
2 - Have lots of fun doing a special shoot without the pressures of a wedding getting in the way and;
3 - Get some wonderful photographs to treasure.
I can say without any hesitation that Richard delivered on all counts!
Even my photographically reluctant husband enjoyed himself. As it was on the wedding day, Richard’s personality and humour kept us all energized and entertained throughout the entire weekend we were lucky enough to have his services. You can tell he loves what he does! He and his assistant, Tamara, took care of me exceedingly well and made sure I was comfortable, safe and happy.
There was never a moment where I felt pressured to do something I wasn’t comfortable with… Actually, I was never worried about anything except how cold the water was going to be and Richard, being a good sport, said that he wouldn’t get me to do anything he wouldn’t do himself, so into the freezing cold water he went too.
In the end, Richard’s eye for detail and vision yielded some truly beautiful photographs which I know I will cherish for a long time to come not only for what they represent to my husband and I, but also for the memories of the fantastic weekend we had creating them.”

“Richard photographed me during a boudoir session and I have to say that it was more fun than I was expecting! He encouraged me to come up with some ideas of what I’d like to get from the session and he also had lots of options to choose from and was happy to include my own props for the photos.
I always felt that Richard explained the session to me and always checked things with me. Despite prancing around the room in my lingerie for 4 hours, I never felt uncomfortable and Richard was also very professional and understanding. By the end of the session I even got down to just my knickers and my guitar!
For me, the whole experience was very liberating and uplifting. Richard showed me the photos as they were taken but when I got the finals prints I could hardly believe the person in them was me! Needless to say, my man was very pleased with the results and is extremely happy with his hardcover book and framed prints :)
